Over the last seven years, we have lived in six different homes and in four different states. We have moved five different times and had four babies. It’s been a wild few years! Out of all of those places we have lived, though, I have to say that Texas had BY FAR the best food of all. I am constantly trying to recreate the things that I had there, and I am still trying to figure out how to make most of them like they do. Street corn is one of those things that I just had to have a great recipe for, so here is my recipe for Street Corn off the Cob!

Sun-Dried Tomato and Spinach Alfredo with Chicken
Are you looking for something comforting? Something creamy? Something garlicky? If so, you have come to the right place! This Sun-dried Tomato and Spinach Alfredo with Chicken is honestly as good as any you will find in a restaurant. I used a heavy hand with the garlic in this dish, and that flavor combined with the creamy sauce and the sun-dried tomatoes and spinach is just amazing.
Peanut Butter Swirl Brownies – Fudgy & Delicious!
I can not think of a flavor combination that I like better than chocolate and peanut butter. It is by far my biggest weakness as far as food goes. I am pretty much addicted to Reese’s, and don’t even get me started on those Reese’s eggs that are in my face every time I leave my house this time of year. Another thing that I REALLY love, is a nice fudgy maybe even gooey brownie. So, I got to thinking – and the result is these fudgy peanut butter swirl brownies.
Banana Bread with Streusel Topping – The Best Ever!
I always go to the grocery store with the healthiest of plans. I buy all of these fruits and vegetables and then we only eat a portion of them before they have gone bad. I feel like bananas are the worst about turning brown before we get around to eating them. Well, I’ve got a use for all of those brown bananas! This Banana Bread with Streusel Topping uses two overripe bananas, and it is the moistest banana bread you will ever have. It also has a decadent streusel topping because, why not?!
Smothered Pork Chops – With Cheese Onions & Gravy
Pork chops have never really been my thing, until now that is. I have both cooked and eaten them so many different ways, but I have never come across a version that I REALLY liked. I had definitely never eaten a pork chop and craved it later. Tonight, that all changed. These Smothered Pork Chops … Read more
Sweet Chili Chicken and Noodle Stir Fry
I feel like one of the most important things to find when you move to a new area is great Asian food of all types. It is just one of those things that when the craving hits, you need that great little restaurant to head to. Well, we recently moved to a new area, and we have not found that spot yet. So, I had to improvise. Let me tell you – this sweet chili chicken and noodle stir fry did not disappoint!
Barbecue Chicken Pizza – A Delicious Family Favorite
One day, soon after my husband and I first got married, I had a craving for barbecue chicken pizza. I went into the kitchen and threw one together with what I had on hand. Based on my husbands reaction, you would have thought that I had spent hours in the kitchen making the most gourmet meal in the world. I just went along with it and let him think I had done something miraculous. The thing is – this pizza is super easy and so delicious. Years later, we are still eating it on a regular basis!
Thin and Crispy Pizza Crust – Easy and Delicious
Pizza is a staple in our house. It is one of the few things that we can all agree on, so we end up eating it A LOT. As a family, we have a lot of fun making homemade pizza, and even the crust from scratch. We each like to choose our favorite toppings and … Read more
