If you are looking for a recipe that will satisfy just about everyone – here it is! This really is The Best Alfredo Sauce, and it will please so many people! Have picky kids? Someone doing a low carb diet? Pasta lovers? Vegetarians? Just about anyone! This sauce has only 3 net carbs per serving (this does NOT include pasta!), and it would be amazing tossed with zucchini noodles or another low carb option. You can also add chicken or shrimp to this, or just toss it with some fettuccini for a classic favorite. Either way – enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese grated

Instructions

  • Heat a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the butter and melt. Add the garlic and cook for approximately 2 minutes, or until it becomes fragrant. Reduce the heat to medium low and add the heavy cream and cream cheese. Whisk continuously until the cream cheese is melted completely.
  • Reduce the heat to low and add the salt, pepper, Italian seasoning and parmesan cheese. Whisk together until the parmesan cheese is melted and combined. Enjoy!
