Homemade Restaurant Style Salsa

This incredibly easy to make fresh salsa will rival the one from your favorite Mexican restaurant!

Ingredients

  • 4 medium vine ripened tomatoes
  • 15 oz can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 white onion peeled and quartered
  • 4 cloves garlic peeled
  • 2 jalapeños omit for mild salsa
  • 2 habaneros omit for medium or mild salsa
  • 1/2 bunch cilantro
  • 2 limes juiced
  • 2 tbsp cumin
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp kosher salt
  • 4 oz can of green chilies

Instructions

  • Stem the tomatoes and peppers if using.  Juice the limes.  Peel and quarter the onion and peel the garlic.  Add all ingredients to your food processor or blender.  Blend together until smooth.  Refrigerate at least an hour before eating.  Enjoy!
