This Snickerdoodle Cookie Skillet is the perfect dessert to whip up in a short time and then top with some ice cream and caramel sauce and share it with your family! This dessert is quick and easy to make, and clean up is also super easy because it is made in just one skillet. You will fall in love with the cinnamon sugar topping on this giant cookie, and your family will fall in love with YOU for making it!
If you have never made Easy Sopapilla Cheesecake, you are really missing out! It is a delicious combination of crescents, a cream cheese filling and a buttery cinnamon sugar topping. I wanted to make these just a little different, so I decided to add some apple pie filling, and Easy APPLE Sopapilla Cheesecake was born! This would be a great easy dessert for anything from a holiday gathering to just a quick dessert to enjoy at home.
Okay so pumpkin desserts are cool and all, but they aren’t the star of the fall dessert show, in my opinion. Apple desserts get my vote all day, every day! There is just something so delicious about a warm apple dessert with some vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce that really gets my mouth watering! These Brown Sugar Cinnamon Apple Enchiladas are so incredibly easy to make. The recipe only calls for 5 easy ingredients, and they only take 25 minutes from start to finish. You are going to want to save this recipe to enjoy this fall!
Alright, y’all! I am officially ready for fall! All of our exciting summer plans have come and gone, and I am ready for some cooler weather (surprisingly, Missouri summers are pretty brutal!). Today, I thought that maybe if I made a fall themed dessert, I could trick myself into thinking that fall was already here. I decided to make this Pumpkin Crumb Cake with Glaze, and let me just tell you – it is amazing! Save this recipe, because it just might be your new favorite pumpkin dessert.
It may not quite be fall yet, but it’s time to start getting ready! Honestly, this Creamy Pumpkin Spice Smoothie could be enjoyed any time of year, but with the weather starting to cool down now is as good a time as any! Making this smoothie takes only a couple minutes, and it is a healthy way to get your pumpkin spice fix!
Cheesecake, cinnamon and sugar – these are three of my favorite things, and when you combine them magical things can happen! These Easy Sopapilla Cheesecake Bars require just a few simple ingredients and they come together so effortlessly that you just may find yourself making them way too often. A basic cheesecake filling is spread between flaky crescent dough and it is all topped with a buttery cinnamon sugar topping. You can even get crazy and top these bars with any of your favorite fruits, syrups or sauces. Save this recipe as it is a great one to make for parties and pot lucks!
Okay, I have a confession to make. If I ever find myself inside a convenience store, I have THE HARDEST time passing up those cinnamon twists that can always be found with the donuts. Because I don’t often find myself in the convenience store (not many things can get me to take four kids inside of any store!), I decided to make my own Homemade Baked Cinnamon Twists. Now I am not saying that these cinnamon twists are the healthiest thing you can eat, but they are a better choice than the fried ones you typically see. I also thought that a quick and easy to make vanilla icing would give these just what they need to satisfy any sweet tooth. I hope your family loves these as much as ours!
I came so close to not even posting this recipe for Nanny’s Zucchini Bread. This zucchini bread is something that my Nanny has been making for as far back as I remember. Every single summer my Nanny and Papa have had a garden, and they always grow zucchini in that garden. Nanny always uses those zucchini to make this bread that we all go crazy over. I can not remember ever going on a vacation with my family that Nanny did not bring this. We actually ask for this so often, that I am pretty sure she keeps a freezer full of it so that she has some ready to go at all times. I decided that I would share this recipe, because I know how much she loves to share this bread, so I think (hope) that Nanny will be glad I shared the recipe here!
As far a packaged snacks from my childhood go, Honey Buns and Nutty Bars were definitely my favorite. I had heard of honey bun cake, so I decided to give it a try. When I started looking for a great recipe for this, I realized that none of them actually had honey. I also notice that all of them used a box cake mix. There is absolutely nothing wrong with using a cake mix, but I wanted to have a recipe from scratch, so here it is! Now it’s time to get to work on a Nutty Bar dessert!
