Okay, I am going to put myself out there and hope you don’t all hate me. I have a confession – I don’t LOVE all of the pumpkin things that pop up each fall. Pumpkin spice latte? Not for me! Pumpkin pie? No thanks! Also, I am SUPER picky about my sweet breads, because there is nothing I hate more than a dry bread. Don’t even waste my time with that! With all that being said, this Cream Cheese Pumpkin Bread may just be my new favorite fall recipe! It is moist, loaded with pumpkin and spice flavor and it has a fantastic rich cream cheese center.

I came so close to not even posting this recipe for Nanny’s Zucchini Bread. This zucchini bread is something that my Nanny has been making for as far back as I remember. Every single summer my Nanny and Papa have had a garden, and they always grow zucchini in that garden. Nanny always uses those zucchini to make this bread that we all go crazy over. I can not remember ever going on a vacation with my family that Nanny did not bring this. We actually ask for this so often, that I am pretty sure she keeps a freezer full of it so that she has some ready to go at all times. I decided that I would share this recipe, because I know how much she loves to share this bread, so I think (hope) that Nanny will be glad I shared the recipe here!

Garlic Knots

For dinner last night, I made my Penne Alla Vodka. I was in the mood to head out to a delicious Italian restaurant, but with four kids on a busy Wednesday night, that’s just not in the cards for us. I decided to recreate that experience at home. One thing that I always crave at an Italian restaurant is garlic knots.
